L'Air Jordan 6 Retro "Cool Grey" apporte des tons neutres épurés à la silhouette classique que Michael Jordan portait lorsqu'il a remporté le premier de ses six championnats NBA. La composition de la tige accentue les lignes dynamiques de la chaussure, associant une base en nubuck gris à des empiècements en cuir dans une finition blanc éclatant. Le logo Jumpman orne le cache-lacets et le talon arrière, ce dernier étant orné d'un lettrage "AIR" brodé. L'amorti léger est assuré par une semelle intermédiaire en polyuréthane, dotée d'une unité Air-sole visible au talon et d'une semelle extérieure en caoutchouc translucide sous le pied.
