L'Air Jordan 6 Retro "Bordeaux" arbore un coloris familier lié au successeur du modèle, l'Air Jordan 7. La tige est en nubuck doux, avec une base gris neutre et des superpositions noires contrastantes. La languette translucide présente un imprimé multicolore qui reproduit l'aspect de la languette en néoprène de l'AJ7, tandis que des accents bordeaux ornent le col et la tirette moulée au talon. L'amorti léger est assuré par l'unité Air-sole visible nichée dans le talon d'une semelle intermédiaire en polyuréthane gris et noir.
